Saturday Snaps

A photograph, each Saturday- Quirky or Serious?, Fun or Interesting?, Real or Abstract?

A comment or not, a thought, a quote or whatever-Let the pictures do the talking!

Browsing through my thousands of photos I came across this one, that just happened to be taken exactly 5 years ago this week. No, I don't know where the time has gone, but I remember this as if it was yesterday.

This is a snap of one of the Lagoons at Salar de Uyuni, (The world's largest salt desert) in Bolivia. It was taken in May 2008, whilst I was travelling and volunteering in South America. It was a most beautiful, yet surreal places I've ever been to (and at night it was one of the coldest!), The picture was straight out of camera- a little point and shoot that I had, but sadly no more, as the colours are amazing. It was the bluest sky I have ever seen and everything was just so crisp.

So that's may Saturday Snap- 5 years on and finally someone, other than me gets to see the photo!

Until next time,
Amanda x
