Feeling evening more Christmassy today- Christmas shopping, A girly gathering for food, mulled wine and games this afternoon and watching Christmas films on dvd this evening. It still feels a little strange though as it's 34 degrees outside!
Hope you like the photo- This was taken near Boone/ Banner Elk, North Carolina, the morning after an ice storm- I've never experienced anything like it- It was so beautiful to look at, but scary all at the same time:)
Have a look at my Saturday snaps for some more pics.
See you tomorrow x
That's a great photo!
ReplyDeleteI cheated a little and added a snowflake or too- but the ice was incredible:)
DeleteAmazing.
ReplyDeleteLove from Mum
xx
Thanks, a little editing on the snowflake front- but the ice was just as it was:)
DeleteLove this photo and yesterdays ones too. You don't see ice like that here!
ReplyDeleteSarah x
It was quite impressive- and yes the snow in NYC was amazing- more photos will follow soon I think!
DeleteSpectacular, Amanda!
ReplyDeleteThe ice was indeed lovely:)
DeleteWhat a wonderful photo - ice can be so dangerous and yet so beautiful too:)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely dangerous-Nature really does throw things at us sometimes:)
DeleteSuch a beautiful photo Amanda. I hated ice storms when I lived in America, but they did produce some amazing sights like the twigs in your photos. xx
ReplyDeleteIt was my first experience- I never even knew what one was until it happened- amazing.
DeleteLovely, we always have a hot Christmas, it would be strange to have a cold one.
ReplyDeleteI've now experienced both- and to be fair- I still love a cold one more I think- although I would be very willing to try an Aussie one!
DeleteYes It was :)
ReplyDeleteStunning photo. Sounds like a perfect build up to Christmas. x
ReplyDeleteThanks-and yes getting more Christmassy by the day:)
