A Scavenger Hunt for May

I can't believe it's the first of June already, where does the time fly. Just arrived back from my Bali holiday and ready to post my Scavenger hunt photos. Some of these I found a little tricky and as usual left them until the end of the month- but anyway here goes.
Thanks to Greenthumb over at madewithlove for hosting:)

is for...Labourers.

On the way up the street I watched a group of labourers putting together a new roof on one of the restaurants. On the way back down I was surprised how quickly they had got things done.

Tiny

A tiny little purple flower used for one of the offerings.

I couldn't help but add another photo of these tiny crabs too, that I had mentioned already on Six Words Friday.

7pm
Time for dinner at a Greek Restaurant. Good food and good company

Reflection
Love the clouds and the reflection of the temple on the lotus pond in Ubud

Demolition
Finally found a demolished building site!

Fresh
Fresh flower petals for sale at Ubud market. They are used in copious amounts in all the little offering baskets.

Left
This is what was left after the market packed up for the morning!

Gadget
I suppose you can call this a gadget- not that there's many around these days.
This one was used in a shop window display.

Puzzle
I was struggling to think of this one, until I realised I'd been doing crossword puzzles throughout the flight! Duh!

Letter
Lots of letters and postcards in the letter box.

Hidden
You never know what you find hidden behind doors in Bali. Behind this one was a gorgeous little villa and pool.

Antique
I don't know if these were genuine antiques- but that's what they were being sold as...and I'm not one to argue!

Looking forward to June's Scavenger hunt.
:)

  1. Great selection of photos! Do they really just leave that fruit and veg there, does it not get stolen? x

    1. Probably- but then again they believe in karma- so perhaps people only take it if they need it!- it would be interesting to find out:)

  2. How great to take your photos in Bali! I especially love the market for Fresh and Left, kind of like Before and After. The tiny crabs are so cute, in a creepy crawly kind of way. And I love the mailbox.

    1. It was pure chance that the sun was shining to get that shot, as I'd walked past a little earlier and it was so cloudy there wasn't a chance of seeing anything- I'm glad I went back:)

  9. The little crabs creeped me out! Great shot, but it gave me goosebumps ~ so kudos to you for evoking an emotional response! I thoroughly enjoyed your collection of photos, Amanda. Reflection was lovely. That little purple flower reminds me of clover. Have a great week!

    1. I shall certainly be posting more- always have too many photos and not enough time to post them! It would sadly be my last holiday to Bali, so it's bittersweet. Booked my holiday to Australia though, so that's something to look forward to!!
