On the move, a crab migration
Millions of tiny creatures, recently spawned,
Making their way to the sea,
A sideways shuffle of epic proportion,
Miniscule crabs rapidly moving on mass.
A giant migration crossing the sands,
Clambering on top of each other,
To be the first one there,
At the edge of the sandbank,
Waiting for the wave to come.
Holy Crow, Amanda! How did you get those pictures without them crawling all over you?
ReplyDeleteFab!
It was a bit dicey trying to run through them- don't think i crushed any though!
DeleteI'd love to see that. So cute :)
ReplyDeleteThey were so tiny. It was really hard to make out what they were.
DeleteI don't know whether to be fascinated or creeped out! x
ReplyDeleteTo be honest it was a little creepy- I think because they were colourless too- very weird!
DeleteAmazing shots!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, it's nice to have you pop over:)
DeleteWe came across a similar experience in France last year - definitely very creepy and just as the sun went down made it all the more so.

It really is strange isn't it? I shall have to google it and see why they gather in such big numbers.
