Six Word Fridays- Light

The pink hue of evening light
casts a glow on golden shores.
Birds gracefully fly home to roost.
their silhouettes framed against the sky.

Later when rosy skies turn orange,
The echoing beat of their wings
will just be another forgotten moment.

My Memory Art six word fridays

  4. Hi Amanda,
You capture the mood so beautifully. It has always amazed me that a moment of SUCH INTENSITY can become, as you wrote, "just...another forgotten moment." How is that possible? And yet, in listening to the people who have perfect recall, they say it is no fun at all that they cannot forget. Oh well, I'll take -and forget- as many wonderful moments as I can. Thanks you for the lovely poetic offering.
