A Wednesday Encounter with Wildlife!

Hi there. I know I have so many things to catch up on about my holidays! but just thought I'd share some pictures of our fab day at Australia Zoo. Set up by the late Steve Irwin and family, it was a great tribute to him and his passion for conservation. Whether zoos are your thing or not, it really is one of the better ones. Lizzie and I had a great time getting up close to some critters!

Prowling Red Pandas
Scampering echidnas.
Terrific Tigers.
Tigers having a bit of a play.
Snapping crocodiles.
Rather him than me!
Wrinkly Rhinos.
Graceful giraffes.
Wandering wombats.
And the cutest koalas ever!
Who were eating...
And wandering...
And sleeping...
And one who even had a little Joey with her!
A great day was had by all.
