Six Word Friday- Break

Solar eclipse March 20th 2015

A lucky break in the clouds
The sun particially covered by moon,
Watching the eclipse, the temperature drops
Birds begin a second dawn chorus.
The earth almost holding its breath
Until the sun begins to emerge
Slowly across from the other side
Until the next strange solar phenonemum.

Perhaps you may have had a better. View than we did here in Cumbria, but this strange event, was a definitely moving experience. It certainly makes you feel that you are just a tiny being in a whole  galaxy and universe of the unknown.

    1. It certainly was a sight to see, despite it being so cloudy. Thanks for stopping by. X

  3. I was in the cloudy north too but managed to see it during breaks in the clouds. I remember the 1999 eclipse too but don't think it was quite as dark or eery this time. Still exciting though and I liked the 'smile'. x

    1. I think I agree with you that 1999 was a little more eerie, but maybe it was because that was my first eclipse and didn't know what to expect. I'm glad you pointed out the smile, I never thought about it till you said. :)
